I thought each and every individual should be able to create a Brand image of oneself, then you will be recognised and remembered for that.

BD person need to improve skills on communication in all aspects, become a expert in that field, attend lots of seminars and meetings happening around. sometimes meeting different kind of people one can gather lots of information's.
Admin person has to keep abreast of all the competitors of the brands or office Automation equipments, talk to different Admin in other companies similar to the one currently working. Sometimes spending more time with vendors to understand their nature of work, the common problems one faces. All these need to be recorded so that when the person leaves, one will be remembered the systematic approach one had taken during the work.
HR person more interest in each of the employee and her or his background all these to be uploaded and kept as dossier on the systems so that any problems faced by any employee the details will give quick hindsight and solution to the current problem, each employee should be a friend not to be treated as HR per say. Then your work gets easy. HR network is very powerful, one should be participative in all these.
