This website is our small attempt to share career related information and also start discussing on the job issues and at the same time help each other grow career wise.
- How do I use this site?
You can search on Job information, either by just the city name or by Title or by both if you want to be specific.
You can add your job information by clicking on "I Want to add my Job info" link.
- How do you collect data?
When you run queries on this website, there is a column title “Source”. When it say’s “Online”, it means it was collected by compiling the data entered by the website user.
If is says "Survey", that means, we have collected the information by conducting an informal survey from the companies in India. Our sources are Recruiters, HR professionals and employees. The data has been filtered for anomalies.
- How dependable is the data?
As the old saying goes, the data is as good as the honesty of the website users.
We do keep an eye on the data collected to filter not so honest entries
- How do you we add more locations?
Since we could not add all the available locations, please forward your suggestions to hello@indiasalaries.com
- What about blogs and forums?
Our idea is to generate professional conversations about the career and the issues surrounding the career.
Blogs are written by Professional like you and me with no hidden agenda. They are just opinions.
- Can I contribute to the blogs?
Absolutely, feel free to send your blogs to hello@indiasalaries.com.
In fact, this is the best way to get you published in your peer community.

- Is this only for IT professionals?
No. Our idea is to include every profession possible. We did have hard time collecting non-IT related careers. Hope this will change in the future.
- How do I enter to win the T-shirt?
If you want to enter in the drawing for T-shirt, please provide us your email address when adding you job data. We randomly pick the email address and will contact you to send you the T-shirt.
